Tracked Vehicles     Tracked vehicles use drive wheels to operate a continuous rubber or metal track. This distributes the weight of the vehicle more evenly than wheels. Civilian vehicles typically maximize this rough-terrain mobility, especially in Hal'Tayat and Nani. They are highly favored by adventurers whose quests frequently take them into hard-to-reach areas. As for military vehicles, tracks are optimal for heavily-armored, heavily-armed machines, including the most dangerous land vehicles ever made by the Ancient Ones.

Driver Competence     If the driver of a tracked vehicle lacks competence in tracked vehicles, they can still operate the vehicle, but with the following effects:
    -Travel speeds (of every TE) are reduced to 50%
    -Any TE travel speed that lists "with roll" cannot be used
    -Any TE travel speed of TE3 or less that does not list "with roll" now requires a roll.

Amphibious Vehicles     In good weather, vehicles which list Amphibious can cross rivers or small lakes in good weather at the listed speed. They cannot cross major lakes or travel at sea.

Dune peelers are forged in non-Chthonian dwarven cities, and are designed for those who dare to have business in the Nanic dunes - a place no one ever wishes to remain for very long. They are the fastest tracked vehicles in Lur-Asko, and also retain more speed in desert sand. Sandfish are far too slow to keep up with these vehicles, but just in case, a Peeler's tracks are also designed to emit vibrations that repel the creatures.
